The prepared courses of the Hörnerdörfer for both classic-diagonal and skating are a true paradise
for every cross-country skier.
In the Hörnerdörfer network, you can – among other things – go on wonderful tours around Fischen,
even on the illuminated night cross-country course. Or admire the snowy Allgäu mountains from the
sun plateau between Bolsterlang and Ofterschwang.
In case the valley once got too much sun
and snow has gone, we can recommend another true cross-country paradise: in the Balderschwanger Tal
(Balderschwang valley), situated on 1000 meters, also called “Bavarian Siberia”, where excellent
conditions are given on the 40-kilometer-long high course until April. The ski-bus comfortably
takes you there from the Hörnerdörfer.
