The gastronomic offer is extremely varied in the Hörnerdörfer – from the rustic village inn via
elegant cafés to haute-cuisine restaurants and international delicacies, a large offer for gourmets
is to be found.
A decent snack
The most famous “semiluxury” food of the region is certainly the Allgäu mountain cheese. Apart from
that, you will also find excellent breweries with many typical beer specialities.
In the Hörnerdörfer you can try the cheese directly in the dairy or the mountain huts and take it
with you for your loved ones at home. A decent snack in one of the Alpine huts gets many a hiker a
new fill of energy for the way back. And the cool beer certainly comes from one of the regional
breweries.
